Understanding warranties can really be somewhat confusing. It’s easy for a consumer to fall into the thought that lifetime warranty really means forever and that’s just not the case. In most cases the warranty that majority of consumers think they are getting, is material only, and it starts to prorate after twenty years.
You should request a written list of anything the company covers outside of the warranty. We are proud to provide a written twenty year workmanship warranty on installations. For additional protection we also register all of our installations with the manufacture.
In some cases it maybe an option for 50 years of non- prorated coverage on labor and material that is backed by the manufacture, depending on your specific needs.
